CA resells StoreAge virtualization Computer Associates (CA) and StoreAge Networking Technologies Inc. announced that CA will resell StoreAge's cross-platform virtualization and data protection products with its BrightStor backup and hierarchical storage management software. Invision.com Inc., a managed services provider in Commack, N.Y., is already using products from both companies but will be grateful of further integration between them. Idealstor announces encryption on removable disks Idealstor announced that Ibac 3.0, a new version of its data protection software, includes target folder encryption on Idealstor's Quick System Recovery disk. Ibac 3.0 encrypts backup data using DESX or 3DES using Ibac 3.0 target folder encryption.

Reldata services IP storage through Anacomp Reseller Anacomp Inc. announced the expansion of its partnership with IP storage gateway maker Reldata, which will now provide end-user services related to Reldata IP Storage Gateway appliances in North America. Anacomp had been providing field service support to Reldata's European customers since May 2005.
