Xiotech Corp. announced a growing number of national companies and government entities have selected the company's Magnitude 3D(R) 3000 storage area network (SAN) solutions in 2006. Customers, including Larson, Allen, Weishair & Co.; Banta Direct Marketing Group; the city of Albert Lea; the city of St. Cloud; Masco; Ventura County Office of Education; Continuum Health Partners; and the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy chose the Magnitude 3D 3000 system in order to better manage their data storage.

London hospital deploys BridgeHead archiving

Patent number 7,035,972 was issued by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and relates to Copan's approach to providing scalable, reliable, power-efficient, high-capacity data storage for long-term and persistent data, the company said.
