Brocade reorganizes channel program
Brocade announced that it will unify its existing channel programs, including the Elite Partner program and Tapestry Partner programs into the Brocade Alliance Partner Network. This new program extends the company's investment in channel partners that focus on shared storage and IT infrastructure solutions, the company said.

Participating channel partners receive the following benefits:

  • Monthly accrued Marketing Development Funds
  • Dedicated marketing and sales representative support
  • Free sales and technical training for Brocade Tapestry products
  • Presales technical support, including sales engineer support and knowledge base access
  • Access to technical tools via a secure Web site
  • Presence on the Brocade Web site

    Isilon upgrades file system
    With the release of its new OneFS 4.0 distributed file system, Isilon says it can scale to support 528 terabytes (TB) of capacity and 7 gigabytes per second of performance in a single file system and single, truly symmetric cluster. The company also announced the release of two new clustered storage platform extension products -- the Isilon EX 6000 and Isilon IQ Accelerator.
